Fetching current USD reference…

Current price: Coinbase spot-price API. Last fetched refers to browser receipt time, not a trade timestamp. Quotes older than five minutes are excluded.

Loading historical snapshot…

Historical prices: Blockchain.com daily market average (USD). Sources differ; no missing dates are interpolated.

Historical performance does not guarantee future results. Early market prices had limited liquidity; the modeled purchase may not have been possible at that price. Calculations exclude fees, taxes, spreads and custody costs. Read the full methodology.

How to read the result

The tool models a single purchase on the selected UTC date, followed by uninterrupted ownership. It does not reconstruct a real order or account for lost access, exchange failure or trading limits. A daily reference is not proof that a particular purchase size could execute at that price. Dates before the first positive observation, after the snapshot or with missing data cannot produce a result.

Share with context

A shared link includes your entered amount and date in its address. Anyone with the link can read them. Results recalculate using the current reference when opened, so the value may differ. No financial amounts are sent as analytics events.
